Primera imagen de la portada de Mario Kart 8 para Wii U (aunque pequeñita). El título de carreras para el que se prevé su lanzamiento durante el mes de Mayo de 2014 muestra en la ilustración de su caja, de estilo cartoon 3D, a Super Mario encabezando una carrera mientras toma una curva hacia la derecha a toda velocidad. Para potenciar el efecto vertiginoso han empleado un “Plano Holandés” en la dirección fotográfica de la ilustración.
