El medio Famitsu ha publicado una lista en la que nueve de los diez juegos más vendidos en Japón durante el pasado año 2013 están disponibles en plataformas de Nintendo. El único título que no apareció en una plataforma de Nintendo fue el Grand Theft Auto V, de Rockstar Games.
