Un grupo de teatro está elaborando un musical inspirado en Mario, el famoso personaje de Nintendo. En esta nueva producción Mario y Luigi, interpretados por Ben Chávez y Josh Israel respectivamente, tienen demasiadas damiselas que rescatar, aunque por suerte la Princesa Peach (Molly Galagher) quiere demostrar que ella puede valérselas por sí misma. Juntos formarán un trío en el que vencerán a las adversidades y se encontrarán a otros clásicos personajes como Toad (Donovan Mendelovitz).
